Two decades of increasing productivity
From 1982 to 2001, SIMINE EXC ensured that more than 30 bucket wheel excavators, stackers and reclaimers at the Neyveli open-cast mine in India operated smoothly. Thanks to the elaborate comprehensive concept which included everything from the drive systems and automation with SIMATIC PCS 7 to the visual displays, material was subjected to considerably less stressing. This resulted in less wear and tear, higher availability, reduced downtimes and increased throughput.
