The solution package for production and material logistics
SIMINE MES provides a sound basis for decision-making
based on real-time data and an efficient method of managing production
resources and stockpiles. As a solution package, it combines everything
that belongs together at MES level:
The production logistics module generates production instructions for a
defined time frame based on geological data and availability of production
units. The process information module provides the visual display, analysis
and documentation of all process data. An integrated material monitoring
system delivers an overview of required material qualities and material
storage locations.

The German power supply company RWE Power chose SIMINE MES for stockpile management at its Fortuna open-cast mine. A Web-based production information system provides continuously updated stockpile information while material movements can be controlled fully automatically from the control center.
